CSA 2009
Sample Bags for the CSA We put together the weekly bags with the intention of creating an interesting and good mix for your week's cooking. Quantities will reflect growing conditions- if it is a good week for tomatoes, you'll get a lot of tomatoes! If it is a not-so-good week, you will perhaps get onions instead! Growing vegetables in Kansas is an adventure, and eating Kansas-grown veggies is too! The table below shows a representative sampling (based on previous years’ harvests) of what one week's bag might contain. A week from each month is shown to give you an idea of how the harvest changes as the season progresses. We actually provide a much wider variety of produce than we could represent here, but this is meant to just give you an idea.
